Learn what each tool can and cannot do.
Adapt the use of each tool to your program's specific needs and goals.
Review each tool regularly to see if it can be used more effectively or needs to be replaced by something better.
➡ Step 2: How comfortable are you with Spreadsheet Software (Google Sheets, Excel, Numbers)?
Build your Data Analysis and Processing Skills - they are key to your organizational success (even if you are using a paid online service like CutTime, Charms, RankOne, etc.)
Dive in and start practicing with spreadsheets to gain comfortability in their use.
Explore online tutorials to gain mastery of the numerous built-in tools and settings.

Most tech people tend to be very left-brain oriented while creatives tend to be right brain. As musicians though, we can bridge the gap between the two. We do it every day as band directors.
We learn new skills all the time, regularly adding new instrument pedagogy to our repertoire and striving to master secondary and tertiary instruments. Why not use this to your advantage?
